One of the best golf link I have ever played.
The greens are extremely well-kept, the course is difficult but very enjoyable, and you can also admire a beautiful panorama along the entire course.
Staff is professional and welcoming, very nice clubhouse and really well stocked pro shop.
I have played golf in many many countries and all up and down the UK, this is the best golf course I have ever been to in my 63 years of living. It is absolutely stunning. The scenic views of Aberdeen are breathtaking. I love coming here with my pals as it is a difficult course but we have plenty of experience so we love drinking whiskey and scoring some bogeys :)
This course is stunning. If you’re looking for an old, seaside, true links course while you’re in Scotland, you’ll find few better than Royal Aberdeen. I came to Scotland on my 40th birthday with my friends to play golf and drink whisky, and we certainly did both. But of the courses we played, Royal Aberdeen is the one I think back to the most, regularly revisiting my photos and videos from the day simply to conjure up the peace and joy that I felt on that day. It’s a tough course, but it’s worth every second. Wow.
What a truly fantastic links course! Very reasonable rates (early April). Course was in fantastic shape with hardly anyone else playing. Top notch staff all around. …
We were lucky to be able to play a round at this impeccable course in idyllic conditions. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens all in great condition. There is a sprinkler system so the course plays wonderfully. Big difference to Murcar Links. Wow- what a day. We can highly recommend this beautiful oceanfront links.
A must stop if you are going to Scotland to play golf. Course was in superb condition, and even if you don't score well, the experience is worth a few lost strokes to the gorse and many pot bunkers which I unfortunately found a plenty.
First time playing here and the course greens, bunkers and fairways where magic. The clubhouse and catering was excellent and the company of friends who all enjoy their day.
I work here. You have to be a member to get into the clubhouse but you can get a visitors pass. Very very nice views and the course is the 6th oldest in aberdeen so worth a gander!
Played in the Seniors Open yesterday ,course was immaculate with welcoming members .For £50 includes soup and sandwiches after game this is fantastic value .My favourite course in Scotland.
Thankyou.(Alyth member).
Very beautiful golf course and very hard. Fairways are pretty narrow but for the most part you can find your ball if it’s in the rough. It is also hilly and hard to walk, which you have to. I’m a 7 handicap and shot a 84.
